Logistics, a vector of transitions
Present in the heart of the Afilog Pavilion, of which it is one of the historical partners, APRC Group will have the honor of organizing one of the most anticipated conferences of this 40th edition of the Transport and Logistics Innovation Week:
“Planning: sustainable development, logistics and urban transitions”
A two-voice conference with Franck Boutté, Grand Prix de l’Urbanisme 2022, Founding President of the sustainable city engineering workshop Franck Boutté Consultants, and Karim Abdellaoui, Founding President of APRC Group.
The first is a civil engineer from the Ponts et Chaussées and trained in architecture at the École de Paris Belleville. A pioneer in the environmental engineering of architectural, urban and territorial projects.
Karim Abdellaoui, ESTP engineer and founding President of APRC Group, has been experimenting for more than 16 years with the operational keys to an innovative vision in the logistics sector. Inaugurating the first BREEAM certification in France, and advocating for efficient planning that reconciles environmental requirements and optimisation of flows through strategic control of territories and cities, APRC Group is studying new approaches to land sobriety and energy efficiency on a daily basis.
The city is both the problem and the solution. All of its functions are challenged in the light of climate and environmental challenges. Climate, biodiversity, sobriety, thinking about reversibility on each of its functions is urgent.
The city is led to branch off beyond the transitions imposed on us. How is it organised? How is it planned? What strategy for the players? How can sobriety and sustainability, profitability and efficiency converge?
To answer this, APRC Group had the idea of bringing together the visions of Franck Boutté, Grand Prix de l’Urbanisme 2022, promoter of the notion of Positive Global Energy Territory, and that of Karim Abdellaoui, Founding President of APRC Group, an agile and constantly moving company, which has been clearing the field of innovation and new experiments for logistics that is both responsible and efficient, for more than 16 years.
Moderated by Razzy Hammadi, founder of News Tank Cities and director of the 3rdcycle of the Leonardo da Vinci University Centre, dedicated to the management of urban transitions, this conference will humbly try to provide some answers in the field of logistics, a function more essential than ever to the future and present of our cities.
