A key milestone has just been reached in the construction of the future urban logistics platform for KSI, a developer of productive and sustainable real estate, in the heart of the Lainière district in Wattrelos and Roubaix (59). We are proud to announce that the first posts were lifted on Tuesday, October 15!
This ambitious project, located on over 50,000 m² of land, is fully in line with the drive to rehabilitate and revitalize a former textile industrial wasteland, with the ambition of creating an innovative and sustainable logistics site.
With a surface area of 26,000 m², the platform will be divisible from 6,000 m² upwards, making it perfectly adaptable to any urban or industrial logistics activity, including zero-emission delivery solutions. It will comprise 24,200 m² of warehousing, 1,600 m² of offices and 200 m² of technical premises, with the possibility of integrating positive cold storage areas.
Its assets?
– Urban proximity with a location in the heart of the urban fabric, to optimize delivery flows.
– Eco-responsibility thanks to a design based on high environmental standards, the creation of over 10,000 m² of green space, the installation of solar panels on the entire roof, and the goal of BREEAM Excellent certification.
– Creating local value by generating jobs and revitalizing this emblematic district.
